Accrocar arranges private helicopter flights in the French and Swiss Alps through licensed operators: transfers from Geneva, Grenoble or Chambéry to the ski resorts, private scenic flights from an authorised aerodrome, and helicopter connections for private jet arrivals. Every flight lands at a site that is authorised for it, and the operator confirms the route, the aircraft and the timing in writing before anything is booked.

Arriving by private jet

From the jet to the mountains.

A private jet into Geneva, Grenoble or Chambéry, then a helicopter to the resort: Accrocar coordinates both, around the same timings, through licensed operators.

Travelling from Morocco? The same concierge arranges the private jet from Marrakech.

Typical helicopters

Built for the mountains.

Single-engine helicopters of this class are common for Alpine passenger flights. The operator selects the aircraft for your passengers, luggage, route and conditions.

Feasibility

What decides an Alpine flight

Mountain flying is planned around landing sites and weather. These are the questions the operator answers before you receive a proposal.

  1. Authorised landing sites

Altiports, heliports and airports. In France, leisure passengers may be set down in the mountains only at an aerodrome; in Switzerland, landing sites are regulated too.

  2. Weather

Helicopters fly by sight in the mountains: low cloud, wind or snowfall can delay or cancel a flight, sometimes on the day.

  3. Crossing a border

Geneva to a French resort, or the reverse, means customs formalities on both sides, which the operator handles.

  4. Skis and luggage

Weight and space are limited. Soft bags travel best; ski bags and hard cases may follow by road.

  5. Passengers

Weight and balance decide how many can fly together, and altitude reduces what a helicopter can carry.

  6. The helicopter

The operator confirms the aircraft available for your date and route. None is presented before that.

No heli-skiing is arranged. In France there is no landing on a slope, a summit or a chalet lawn; in Switzerland, some published flights stop at authorised mountain landing sites. The road stays the fallback when the weather closes the valleys.

Our role

Concierge, not operator

Accrocar acts as a concierge and charter arranger. Flights are operated by appropriately licensed third-party air carriers. Aircraft, routes, permits, pricing and availability are subject to operator confirmation.

  • Each request is quoted on its own: no fare table, no live prices
  • The proposal sets out the aircraft, the schedule, the price and the conditions
  • Nothing is booked until you approve the proposal in writing

Questions

Helicopter charter in the Alps: your questions

Yes, on request. Accrocar arranges private helicopter flights in the French and Swiss Alps through licensed operators: transfers from the gateway airports to the resorts, scenic flights and jet connections, subject to the operator, the landing site and the weather.

Geneva, Grenoble Alpes-Isère, Chambéry and Sion are the usual gateways; Samedan serves the Engadin. The operator confirms the departure point for each flight.

In France, resorts with an altiport such as Courchevel, Méribel and Megève; in Switzerland, Zermatt through its heliport, Gstaad through the Saanen airfield, St. Moritz through Samedan, Verbier through Le Châble, and others through landing points the operator confirms.

No landing at a chalet or on a slope is arranged. In France, leisure passengers may be set down in the mountains only at an aerodrome; the last part of the journey is by road.

No. Heli-skiing is not allowed in France, and Accrocar does not arrange it in the Alps.

Both depend on the route, the helicopter, the positioning and the conditions. The operator states the timing and the price in a written proposal.

Safety decides: the operator can delay or cancel a flight. We plan the road alternative with you in advance, especially on a fixed arrival day.
