Private Aircraft Guide

Which aircraft for which journey.

This guide presents the categories of private aircraft and helicopters that Accrocar arranges through licensed operators, with typical models for each. It is a guide, not a fleet: for every request the operator proposes the aircraft that suits your route, your party and your luggage, and confirms it in writing.

Categories

From turboprops to VIP airliners.

Seven categories of aircraft, in order of size, then the helicopters.

How the operator chooses

What decides the aircraft

  1. 01

    Distance and route

The range needed with reserves, and whether a stop is required on the way.

  2. 02

    Passengers and luggage

Seats are only half of it: golf bags, large cases and equipment decide the hold.

  3. 03

    Airports

Runway length and airport services rule some aircraft in or out.

  4. 04

    Comfort on board

Cabin height, a separate rest area or a galley matter more as the flight gets longer.

  5. 05

    Season and altitude

Heat and altitude reduce what an aircraft can carry, above all for helicopters in the mountains.

  6. 06

    Availability

The operator proposes an aircraft available for your dates; no model is guaranteed in advance.

Figures in this guide come from the manufacturers; the operator confirms them for the exact aircraft.

Our role

Concierge, not operator

Accrocar acts as a concierge and charter arranger. Flights are operated by appropriately licensed third-party air carriers. Aircraft, routes, permits, pricing and availability are subject to operator confirmation.

  • Each request is quoted on its own: no fare table, no live prices
  • The proposal sets out the aircraft, the schedule, the price and the conditions
  • Nothing is booked until you approve the proposal in writing
  • Ground transport is arranged by Accrocar, with cars from its own fleet

Questions

Private aircraft: your questions

You can ask for one. The operator proposes an aircraft available for your dates and confirms the model in the written proposal; no model is guaranteed before that.

A turboprop turns propellers with a turbine engine: efficient on short routes and at smaller airfields. A jet flies higher and faster, which counts on longer flights.

Often a light or midsize jet, depending on the number of passengers and the luggage. The operator confirms the aircraft for your exact plan.

From a few passengers in a very light jet to large parties in a VIP airliner. The exact number depends on the aircraft and its configuration, and the operator confirms it.

No. Accrocar is a concierge and charter arranger: the aircraft are operated by licensed third-party operators, who confirm the aircraft for every request.

Typically light single-engine helicopters such as the Robinson R44, the H125 or the H130. The operator confirms the helicopter with the route and the weather.
