Confirmed service versus arrangements still to confirm

Clarity matters more than a polished promise. Accrocar offers VIP handover by appointment at a hotel, riad, villa or Marrakech Menara (RAK). That service exists. What does not exist as a blanket guarantee is airside or tarmac access, a named exit before we write it down, or a car held without availability. Treat the list below as the difference between the concierge product and the details of your file.

• Confirmed once your file is written: model, dates, chauffeur or self-drive, deposit terms for self-drive, and the exact meeting point.
• Always share: flight number and airline for Menara arrivals, so we can adjust if the aircraft is late.
• Not guaranteed unless confirmed for your booking: tarmac or airside access, a specific terminal door, or waiting beyond the agreed slot.
• On request, not automatic: one-way to another city, delivery outside the usual Marrakech addresses, overtime or a second handover mid-stay.

The car is ready when the meeting point is written — not when the wheels touch the runway.

The booking journey, from first message to confirmation

VIP delivery starts before you fly. WhatsApp or the contact page is enough. Accrocar does not ask you to join a queue at a Menara desk. You send the stay; we answer with availability and terms in writing. Until that written confirmation, nothing is held.

• You send dates, preferred model or use case, passenger count, luggage, and whether you want a chauffeur or self-drive.
• For Menara, you add flight number, airline and scheduled local arrival.
• You add the first-night address if handover is at a hotel, riad or villa rather than the airport.
• Accrocar confirms availability, the applicable from-price, deposit terms if you drive, and a proposed handover window.
• Only after that written confirmation is the vehicle prepared for your slot.

Flight information: what to send, and when

A flight number is not a formality. Marrakech Menara is compact, but European arrivals often cluster in the afternoon and evening, and delays are ordinary. Sharing the flight lets Accrocar follow the aircraft and move the slot if you land late. Send it as soon as it is issued; send a correction if the airline changes the aircraft or the time. We do not assume we can wait indefinitely without a new confirmation.

• Flight number and airline.
• Scheduled arrival in local time — allow for the time zone.
• A reachable WhatsApp number after landing, with roaming or Wi-Fi in mind.
• Passenger count and luggage volume, so the right SUV or van is the one waiting.
• If someone else is collecting: their name, as written on the passport.

Delays, night arrivals and missed connections

If the flight is delayed, message as soon as you know. Accrocar reschedules handover when we can; that new window is confirmed, not guessed. Night arrivals are possible by appointment — they are not a walk-up service. A missed connection is a new slot: write, wait for confirmation, then proceed. Do not assume the original car and original place still apply.

Meeting arrangements at Menara

The exact meeting point is confirmed before you land — typically a named public area after baggage claim, not a promise of airside access. Accrocar does not claim tarmac handover as a standard or guaranteed service. If a more private arrangement is possible for your booking, it is written into that booking; it is never implied. In peak hours the terminal is busy: save our WhatsApp, keep your phone on, and follow the meeting point we sent, not a generic “outside arrivals” instruction from memory.

• You receive the meeting point in writing before the flight.
• After landing, you message when you have your luggage.
• Handover happens at the confirmed point — not on the tarmac unless that access was confirmed for your file.
• If you stay in the Medina the same night, we may still meet at Menara first, then drive you in; a riad door handover can be a separate appointment.

Vehicle handover: what happens on the ground

Handover is brief when the file is complete. The car is prepared for your slot: checked, cooled, luggage space ready. You review condition, hear the useful reminders (fuel, city circulation, collection plan), and leave for Hivernage, Guéliz, Palmeraie or your riad. It is not a desk interrogation. It is also not instant if documents or the deposit method for self-drive are still missing.

• Briefing: controls, fuel, and the collection plan already agreed.
• Luggage loaded when the model allows — share case count in advance.
• Departure to the first address, with chauffeur or self-drive as booked.

Documents, deposit and who is driving

For self-drive, expect passport and a valid driving licence for the main driver; an international permit if Accrocar confirms it is required for your nationality. The exact list is confirmed by message before booking — we do not publish a universal pack that covers every guest. Credit-card pre-authorisation is standard for self-drive; the amount depends on model and duration and is released after return in the agreed condition. Accrocar never offers deposit-free rental. For chauffeur hire, passengers are not driving: there are no passenger driving restrictions; those terms are also confirmed in writing.

Luggage, passengers and the car that should be waiting

VIP delivery fails quietly when the car is beautiful and the boot is too small. A couple with two cabin cases is not a family of five with strollers. Share headcount and luggage when you book; Accrocar confirms whether a Range Rover Vogue, a Porsche Cayenne or a Mercedes-Benz V-Class is the coherent choice. Model advice belongs in the airport guide; here the rule is operational: the vehicle at Menara must match the party that lands.

• Range Rover Vogue — quiet space for couples or a demanding family, from €449/day.
• Porsche Cayenne — a premium SUV when the next day is a drive, from €389/day.
• Mercedes-Benz V-Class Maybach — groups and equipment in one vehicle, from €550/day.
• Statement arrivals (G63, Bentayga, Cullinan) — confirm passenger and case count; these are not automatic airport vans.

Timing: from landing to the first night

Plan the handover after real disembarkation, not the scheduled touchdown minute. Passport control and baggage at Menara vary with the hour. A realistic window avoids a cooled cabin waiting while you are still at the belt — and avoids you waiting on the kerb. If you want a chauffeur for the airport-to-hotel leg only, say so in the first message: that is a transfer, not a multi-day chauffeur availability. Both are possible; they are not the same booking.

Return and collection

Collection is the same logic in reverse: by appointment, at Menara, the hotel, riad or villa. Share the departure flight time early enough to align the slot with check-in recommendations. Last-minute changes are requested, then confirmed — they are not assumed. Fuel, condition and the agreed mileage or contract terms are reviewed at return; details of your contract are those confirmed in writing at booking.

• Agree the collection address and window before the last day.
• Send the departure flight if collection is at Menara.
• Allow time for luggage and the terminal — do not compress the slot to the boarding call.
• If you change hotel mid-stay, request a second address; it is confirmed separately.

Delivery beyond the airport, and one-way on request

Menara is the most requested VIP point, not the only one. Accrocar delivers in Marrakech and, through the booking flow, can organise delivery in Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Agadir, Essaouira, Ouarzazate, Fès, or another city on request.
